Kicking off the US tour in style

Our journey to the US was not without it’s ups and downs, that’s for sure! Even after obtaining 2 passports we were still detained at US customs which was very scary, but thankfully they let us go without too much hassle. Not quite sure why they picked on us, I think they have a fear of red-haired ladies ;)

But even though the band made it into the country safely our guitars didn’t! They got stranded in San Francisco but thankfully made it in time for our first show in LA. Phew!

Now that things have settled down a bit we’re really enjoying the sun and city. Having a great time with our fabulous host, folk legend Al Stewart. He’s been entertaining us with stories about Keith Moon and Led Zeppelin and generally showing us the sights of Hollywood. We’re getting loads of great pics which I’ll upload asap for you.

Hope some of you will make it out to our US live shows, hope to see some of the US animals at:

    A quick update….

This week has been a busy one! Wowee! We’ve had some problems getting our US visas sorted for the next tour, but thankfully we are all now cleared and authorised to enter into the country. The outcome was that 3 of the band now have 2 passports! Which is very James Bond indeed!!

But before we go on tour, we need to go shop of course! We want to give a huge shoutout to our friends at Juno Says Hello and Beyond Retro for supplying us with some amazing stage costumes, and Tabio for giving us some very cool tights. We’ll take lots of photos of the clothes on stage – watch this space!

Also this week we took a little walk around Hamstead Heath with the lovely people from World Sessions and filmed a promo video for our upcoming European Tour. We’re really looking forward to getting back to the Netherlands in November, all the tour dates are online here: http://www.worldsessions.nl/index.php?p=artiesten&artiest=gabby
